The purpose of the role is to manage the finances of our for-profit, mission-driven consultancy, supporting its financial health and overall smooth operation. This involves providing business support and advice, financial planning, risk management, data analysis and supporting the Executive Team with sound financial advice to inform decisions for sustainable financial performance.
You will need experience managing company accounts and assets, and in due diligence on budgets for tenders, client contract review and data analysis. Working knowledge of managing company insurance, pension and shareholder schemes is required for this role. Previous experience of reviewing client contracts and advising organisations on risk management is advantageous.
This is a great opportunity to help build and consolidate the business, with a platform at board meetings, helping to make strategic decisions with the executive team. You will have a minimum of five years in a similar role and have advanced excel skills. You will have worked with financial systems such as Sage and ideally be a qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent but this is not essential.
