Job Description
  • You will need to be able to organize and priorities own workload and work on your own initiative.
  • The ideal candidate would have proven secretarial skills, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and databases.
  • Experience of working as well as knowledge of Health Systems is desirable but an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn is also very important.
  • An understanding of confidentiality is essential.
  • The applicants must possess experience of administrative / secretarial skills working in an administrative / office environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is key in this role and experience of data entry and Excel spreadsheets would be advantageous
  • The post holder will be responsible for maintaining records both manually and on computerized systems.
  • They will demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • The post holder may be required to act as the first point of contact for all forms of communication during times of planned or unplanned absences.
  • The post holder is required to work on their own initiative, sometimes unsupervised and will be flexible, adaptable to the needs of the service whilst being able to priorities work commitments.
  • The role may involve travelling to and working across other sites in support of service delivery.
