Job Description

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships, develop and continue to build successful teams, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities. We service many sectors and many different types of clients offering a wide range of opportunity. The variety of work is a strength of the team, and typically if there’s something you want to get involved in, you will find it across the wider team. That doesn’t mean we don’t specialize too. Our Partners and Directors often specialize in different sectors; varying from Retail, International Tax, Real Estate, Private Enterprise and Public Sector to name a few.

  • Be market facing with allocated clients and target organizations.
  • Lead by example with client relationships, technical quality and service delivery.
  • Being a leader within the team for personal growth and development.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and identifying leads for new work.
  • Managing teams and, coaching and developing staff to continue to build the team for the future.
  • Liaising with the client service team and with colleagues in other tax disciplines as well as the audit and accounting discipline to provide a coordinated service to the client.
  • Actively promote team and personal profile to internal networks in order to promote collaboration and increase internal leads
  • Being involved in business development and proposal activity
  • Hold and control high level conversations with senior stakeholders in the markets and be capable of introducing relevant specialists from across the firm
  • Identify key client issues that represent opportunities for other teams to capitalize on and play active role in introductions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong educational background (preferably 2:1 or higher University degree)
  • ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge
  • Note: Where corporation tax experience is achieved in the absence of qualifications, please do consider applying.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills
