Job Description
Working within a small and friendly team, the role will be a mixture of office administration and client work, with a focus on bookkeeping and payroll. The job will include both on-site and day-release training, working with and reporting to other members of staff.
- Data Entry
- VAT returns
- Bookkeeping
- Communication with clients via letter, email, or phone
- Onboarding clients to cloud software
- Training clients on cloud software
- Reviewing client cloud software prior to preparation of year end accounts and/or tax returns
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Grade C in GCSE English and Math or equivalent - minimum
- Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2
- AAT Level 2
- The role will be office based and given the level of training required, it is not practical for this role to be working from home.

The right candidate will be fully trained in QuickBooks and Xero and become our go to person for our cloud software, and will manage clients moving on to software for Making Tax Digital for Self-Assessment in a couple of years’ time.
