Job Description

You must ensure that there are suitable governance practices in place to protect the business. This ranges from ensuring legal and regulatory compliance all the way to robust business continuity planning and management.

  • Continuously develop a true shared service Centre within the Accounts team, enabling working across all entities and locations
  • Ensure system performance, data accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure services are effectively operating within agreed SLA's. Manage relationship with Accounts teams, 3rd party suppliers/customers and be accountable for escalation/resolution of issues.
  • Develop, support and manage the teams, including monitoring the ongoing learning and development of team members
  • Actively support the teams with workload during peak workload or absence including monitoring call queues and inboxes
  • Actively participate as a member of the SSF (Shared Services Function) Management Team. Contribute to initiatives, regular meetings and activities
  • Reviewing supplier reconciliations
  • Daily cash and card reconciliations
  • Ensuring the team are fully compliant with all internal and financial policies
  • Adhering to strict month end deadlines to produce reports
  • Assisting with Year End audits and external audits
  • Supporting the wider Finance team and identifying improvements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience managing teams within a Shared Service Centre environment is essential 
  • Experience with AP & AR processes
  • Must have managed large teams of 17+ 
  • Strategic leader who can drive cultural and business improvements
