The post holder will be expected to cover all aspects of the administration duties including reception and general enquires. You should possess excellent communication skills, have a good standard of education, good keyboard and IT skills and have the ability to multitask and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be an effective team player and have the ability to project an efficient, helpful and friendly manner when dealing with members of the public, customer, suppliers and colleagues.
This is a full time post working 38 hours per week on a permanent basis. Part time hours may be considered.
Duties include answering the telephone, dealing with queries and/or taking accurate messages, and passing on to the appropriate individual in a timely manner. Receiving and dealing with incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail, on a daily basis. Photocopying, filing, record keeping, plus other general office duties as and when required.
Duties are not limited to, being responsible for inputting and updating various spreadsheets and processes used to monitor quality control and health & safety requirements on a daily basis. Entering time sheets and purchase orders on to a bespoke job cost system, verifying purchases and entering purchase invoices and sales invoices onto the Sage accounts package. Working closely with the engineering managers and liaising with workshop personnel to ensure the smooth day to day running of the workshop.
