Job Description

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in accounts. Experience working in accounts and bookkeeping is essential as you will be the only person working in the accounts department.

  • Processing Purchase Ledger invoices and payments, responding to any supplier queries.
  • Issuing Sales Ledger invoices, allocate payments and follow up any outstanding debt.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Payroll from start to finish.
  • Journal Entries
  • Cash flow forecasts/spreadsheets
  • Basically all aspects of accounts and bookkeeping apart from the end of year accounts and Corporation Tax
  • External accountants on hand for any assistance required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience:

  • Accounting/Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
