Job Description

My client, a global business operating within the higher education sector who have grown exponentially over the last few years have an exciting vacancy within their finance operation. This is a part time position ideally 15-20 hours per week working remotely from home, with the occasional travel the office based in Swansea.

You will be part of a close knit and energetic team to support with the following:

  • Manage purchase invoices and payments to creditors
  • Raise service charge invoices using our block accountancy package
  • Manage the direct debit collection process ensuring accounts are up to date
  • Setting up payment plans
  • Sending payment reminders/ overdue payment notices
  • Reconcile monthly accounts.
  • Chasing payments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You must be able to learn quickly and work independently, be confident dealing with global customers, be organized and pay attention to detail.
  • To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate strong administration, organizational and customer service skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience with credit control and using Microsoft office applications would be advantageous.
  • BA in Business/Accounting or equivalent
