Communicate effectively with all members of staff and actively participate in staff meetings.
Communicate and liaise effectively with directorates, divisions and stakeholders as directed and required on a range of complex and sensitive topics.

Provide centralized telephone coverage for the unit, answering where practicable enquiries for staff, patients and external contacts.
Collaborate with staff in maintaining accurate databases, updating office operating procedures, inventories and documentation.
Assists with providing comprehensive training and supervision of clerical staff and new members of administrative staff within the department in all relevant areas
To work in a safe manner in accordance with the Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Using high level diary management skills, organize and maintain consultants' diaries; responsible for scheduling meetings and resolving potential conflicts with diary appointments and schedules.
