Job Description

This role is Senior General Manager. We are looking for a strong candidate who has previously ran a large busy operation and is used to running multiple quality restaurant/bar (and/or leisure) concepts & is now keen to run multiple operations under one roof and who is looking to join a innovative growing company.

The role is incredibly hands-on & is a very important role within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the company's successful operation which, due to its continued popularity & success, is going through a period of expansion & development.

The successful candidate will have managed a multi-faceted branded leisure or hospitality business with and will be used to managing different teams and functionalities. The successful candidate will have worked within a branded hospitality/leisure environment & will be used to working with processes, checks & detail. ***NOT HOTELS***

Experience of working within experiential leisure would be an advantage, though not essential.

As Senior General Manager you will be accountable for all aspects of the business, leading & managing your teams to ensure that the operation performs to the highest standards, building on its existing success and taking it to the next level whilst also ensuring that guests receive an amazing guest experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· A proven track record of success working within the hospitality and/or leisure industry & a real passion for the industry.

· Experience of working as an Area Manager, Operations Manager or Cluster Manager with a quality branded restaurant/bar or leisure company. We would also consider Senior General Managers with experience of running large multi-faceted operations under one roof. The role would potentially suit an experienced Senior General Manager or an Area Manager who is tired of extensive travelling and who is keen to use their skills to run effectively several different operations under one roof.

· Experience of working with high volume well-respected quality branded operators

· Food & wet-led high volume experience

· Experience of running high volume fresh food businesses with busy kitchens producing great quality food

· Some experience of experiential leisure would be an advantage, though not essential

· A responsibility for the Sales & Marketing of your venue - driving business, maximising sales opportunities, developing the guest experience, corporate hire, developing the food/party offering - delivering corporate events & catering for larger parties

· Experience of running multiple sites or large multi-faceted venues with restaurants, bars, kitchens & a leisure offering

· Previous experience as a multi-site manager

· Proven track record of recruiting, managing, inspiring, motivating & developing great teams. Full responsibility for the performance & welfare of the team with a focus on succession planning, developing talent from within.

· Commercially strong & organised with strong attention to detail & great planning & decision-making skills

Result driven - focused on operational & financial performance

· Fully P & L accountable - proven track record of managing stock & controlling costs

· The desire to work in an entrepreneurial innovative business

· Excellent operating knowledge of different business & training systems & procedures and advanced knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety licensing laws & regulations

· Passionate & committed to ensure that guests are continually delighted

· A real pride and ownership of your venue

· The ability to assist in the development of new ideas and offerings to complement the current business

· The ability to work closely with Senior Managers & Directors within the business
