Job Description

You’ll work with various business units to ensure all applications (SaaS, Microsoft, Linux, Open Source) and IT hardware are inventoried and maintained through standard asset management processes and procurement of assets in line with business requirements.  As your role develops, you will start to build relationships with suppliers, understand how their new and existing products/features can benefit the business and make suggestions accordingly.  This will also lead to contract negotiation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Junior IT/Software Asset Manager essential requirements

 

• Budgeting or Procurement experience
• Good IT knowledge
• Understanding of licensing models (SaaS in particular)
• Office 365 and Windows

Junior IT/Software Asset Manager desirable skills

 

• Experience in a Software house
• Submitting proposals
• ISO 27001
• Supplier negotiation
• Stakeholder management
