Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Our Corporate Performance and Analysis Manager at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Strong influencing skills: ensure the customer is at the heart of business decisions.
- Deep knowledge of developing and analysing performance metrics and effectively embedding performance metrics into organisations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on experience working with complex datasets.
- Proven capability for applying complex analytics and data modelling to business situations.
- Capability in advanced Excel applications (i.e. VBA programming level) and MS Power BI.
- Strong track record in the creation and maintenance of Access databases.
- Strong track record of providing business analysis reporting through the aggregation of disparate data-streams.
- Proven capability to carry out situation, option and impact assessments, gap analyses and performance reviews.
- Experience of effective knowledge working and sharing approaches.
- Ability to present complex information and interpretation effectively to different audiences (e.g. management, industry groups, customer groups).
- Ability to use PowerPoint or similar to tell a succinct business story.
- People/team management skills and experience.
