Job Description

The successful individual will undertake a varied role in which the workload will involve leading/ supervising audits from planning to completion, the preparation of statutory accounts along with the associated corporate tax computations and will have a good working knowledge of reporting standards (particularly UK GAAP and FRS102).

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified (Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered) with experience of leading external audits from planning to completion and the audit: accounts split will be down to the individual’s preference.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading external audits from planning to completion
• Leading teams of junior staff on site
• Preparation of year-end financial statements
• Preparation of corporation tax computations
• Reviewing the work of junior staff
• Dealing with client queries
• Training and developing junior members of staff

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA / ACCA Qualified
• Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered.
• Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
• Practice experience is essential
