Job Description

The position will suit someone who has experience in financial management and has a recognized accountancy qualification or is part-qualified with relevant experience. The role offers flexibility and the opportunity for some home-working.

• Timely and accurate recording and monitoring of accounting data for multiple companies within the group.
• Company formation and Statutory Compliance
• Preparation of Management Accounts, financial reports, budges, cashflow and business forecasts.
• Salary processing and some general book-keeping for the portfolio.
• VAT registrations and returns.
• Year end accounts preparation for audit.
• Preparation of project financial models.
• Assistance with collating information for personal and corporate tax returns.
• Financial administration of a portfolio of investment properties.
• Providing strategic advice to the MD

The successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment, as well as having the capacity to use their own initiative and work on their own. This role is permanent,  and is ideally suited to persons looking to work part time with the opportunity to continue to develop their career in a growing property company.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A good working knowledge of MS Office packages (especially excel)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, modelling and commercial reporting skills
• Previous use of accounting software packages (QuickBooks preferred).

Education:

• A-Level or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Finance: 5 years (required)
