Job Description

We are offering a fully supported training package towards professional accounting qualifications, including AAT and/or ACCA. This full-time role offers the successful candidate exposure to a wide range of businesses across a varied client base. 

  • Preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts and VAT returns for small and medium entities
  • Working with spreadsheets, cloud-based accounting software, client’s manual records, bank account statements and automated data entry software
  • Plan workload to ensure efficient use of time and resources
  • Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
  • Scanning of documents and working files for archiving
  • Processing of payroll, company secretarial duties and timely bookkeeping for clients
  • Answering telephone calls in the office and telephoning clients for information
  • Analysis of financial statements prepared, to report on financial performance and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A minimum of Grade C/4 or above in Math and English
  • Desire to learn and succeed in the opportunity given by the role
  • Willingness to develop good communication skills and learn how to professionally correspond with colleagues, professionals and clients
  • An inquisitive nature and an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Attentive, organized, and able to meet deadlines
