Reporting to the Programme Manager, this role provides project management expertise for the different projects within the Finance Transformation Programme in the Finance Division. The postholder will work flexibly across projects to lead on project coordination, planning, budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and implementation. The role will support the Programme Manager in selecting and managing consultants/implementation partners and to effectively manage relationships within the project governance. The role is key for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm, and momentum across all the projects within the FTP and is responsible for the development, delivery and support of the university-wide technology and systems to staff.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate significant project delivery experience in client facing roles, managing suppliers and 3rd parties, applying professional Programme Management processes to manage the delivery of IT projects that utilize a range of development methods and approaches (e.g. Agile, Iterative, Waterfall). Demonstrable experience of Cloud Finance ERP systems implementations and delivering large scale (up to £2m+) multi-project programmes is essential.
