Job Description

This role is available due to ongoing growth, and this dynamic firm enjoys exceptionally high levels of staff retention. Whilst this advert is for a Senior Manager, the firm would consider talented candidates at Manager Level.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of specific corporate finance engagements
  • Manage project timetables and resourcing
  • Coach and train junior members of staff
  • Effective and appropriate delegation to junior members of staff
  • Interact across the business to form a strong management peer group that communicate and share knowledge around key issues impacting business performance
  • Develop own network of contacts that are accretive or incremental to existing firm relationships
  • Demonstrate an ability to win work for corporate finance and the wider business through client portfolio (new existing) and personal network (new new)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) with a minimum 4 years’ post-qualified experience with at least 2 years in Corporate Finance (TS or M&A)
  • Have successfully managed projects across teams from planning to completion
  • Understanding of CF deal structures and completion mechanisms along with CF research systems and how to use them
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Thames Valley and London Private Equity community
  • Proficient in Excel (data analysis), Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate with senior management and explain points clearly and concisely, and with client personnel at all levels and explain points clearly and concisely
  • Ability to train, coach and develop other team members
  • Highly commercial with excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Willing to embrace change and new ideas
  • Analytical with precise attention to detail
