Job Description

You will work with a virtual team of similar consultants often jumping between different clients and issues at different stages of maturity. You will regularly use your client facing consultancy skills, so clear communication is key. This role is primarily remote working, but some time onsite with clients may be required. 

Your role will involve:

  • Providing support to our clients for incidents, requests and changes for their systems
  • Investigating and providing solutions for the client requirements.
  • Producing high level and detailed designs for your functional area; collecting business requirements and mapping out business processes
  • Designing end-to-end solutions and ensure deliverables are consistent with design principles, standards and methodologies
  • When required leading client sessions and demonstrations and collaborating closely with the relevant client contacts
  • Configuring, testing, producing documentation (including providing inputs for technical/development objects when appropriate) and delivery of the solution to the client
  • Manage and implement the solution with the client when required to minimize implementation risk
  • Consistently deliver quality, taking ownership from start to finish
  • Providing SME advice, leading and recommending solutions for the clients
  • Lead or participate in practice development activities which support sales activities and internal capability development

Work pattern: This is a permanent full-time opportunity, with a travel requirement, but with the opportunity to benefit from the Firm’s agile working practices.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A proven ability to understand and troubleshoot large systems, drilling down to detailed level to identify the root cause of incidents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills are required
  • The ability to work in an environment supporting a large suite of Enterprise products. Being able to excel working collaboratively with development and project teams is required
  • Procurement - strong skills in Procure to Pay or Source to Pay business functions
  • Business Analysis – the ability to understand, document and obtain agreement on customer requirements
  • The following knowledge and skills would be highly beneficial:
  • Procurement technologies such as Ariba, Oracle or Coupa
  • Experience of Agile development methodology (preferably using JIRA)
  • End to end application management lifecycle experience
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation qualification
