Job Description

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with superb planning and analysis skills to help the leadership team make financial decisions based on the performance of over 70,000 homes in our portfolio. As the Director of Asset Performance you will build, develop and maintain financial models to show the current and long-term financial performance of the Group's entire social and non-social housing asset base, including neighbourhood level operating margins.

By developing a detailed understanding of the social housing operating environment and the factors that will influence the long-term financial performance of social housing assets you will provide financial advice and make recommendations in relation to acquisitions, investment in existing assets, disposals, re-purposing & re-development. You will also provide professional support to the wider Assets & Investments finance team in respect of financial modelling and options appraisals relating to the Group's non-social housing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for a qualified Accountant with extensive experience in data modelling and scenario planning. A true business partner you will have experience working at board level, providing advice and influencing senior leaders to ensure that commercial recommendations are made in a timely manner, based on robust, accurate data.

An advanced user of Microsoft Excel including experience of VBA, you will possess strong technical experience with regards to financial modelling including the development of bespoke financial appraisals. You will be comfortable with complex reconciliations involving high volumes of data and interpreting performance from this.
