Job Description
  • Defining the objectives of onboarding as a key component of the company’s global training strategy
  • Having knowledge of the full global onboarding process, contributing functions, and stakeholders involved
  • Ensuring a high-quality onboarding experience for all new employees globally, through coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the global onboarding process, including planning the onboarding delivery, managing the global induction programme, overseeing the preparation of the induction programme, and facilitating effective collaboration across the onboarding team
  • Driving quality in all aspects of onboarding through identifying and implementing process improvements in collaboration with the wider onboarding team. This will include collecting feedback from new starters, consultation with leadership team, as well as longer-term strategic appraisal and updating of the company’s approach to onboarding ensuring it remains fit for purpose as the needs of the company continue to evolve
  • Being the key point of contact representing the onboarding team within the wider company, ensuring questions are addressed, and feedback is implemented

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Professional experience in a related onboarding, talent retention, or learning & development role
  • A process-oriented approach with enthusiasm for proactive high-level planning and forward thinking
  • A 'can do’ approach and the initiative and creativity required to identify challenges and work towards solutions & improvements
  • Organisational skills, the ability to plan & prioritise, and a flexible approach
  • Confidence to lead and motivate a large cross-functional team, communicating with all levels of seniority
  • Excellent communication skills, a desire to provide a high level of customer service, a high level of written accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail
  • IT skills, including a high standard of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and the ability to train others on aspects of these
