Job Description
This is a varied bookkeeping role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day finances of the company, liaising with external accountants regarding year end and management accounts.
- Maintaining the purchase ledger and sales ledger
- The ability to extract accounting information from in-house software
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting journals (such as payroll)
- Preparing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns
- Raising invoices for the intercompany transactions
- Dealing with completion statements and finance documents
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
