Job Description
You will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organize data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls.
- Booking new and follow up appointments into the outpatient clinics.
- Liaising with the outpatient department and medical secretaries to manage the administration of clinics.
- Administration of online bookings for outpatient appointments.
- Preparation, checking and sending of patient appointment letters and information.
- Fully flexible to action work in all areas of the department.
- Implement written departmental processes and procedures.
- To be competent in the use of the booking systems, outlook calendars and all administrative processes.
