Job Description

• Undertaking and assessing the fire safety of communal fire doors in residential blocks, following our prescribed 34 step check, in line with British Standards and current regulations.
• Recording your findings of any doors presenting with faults in an excel, preformatted spread-sheet, via a handheld tablet (supplied).
• Making a recommendation on remedial works and checking your work, before submitting this via email/shared drive

You will be given two days of tech input and orientation and provided with tools to undertake this service, submitting invoices to reflect the days worked at the end of each calendar month.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficient/intermediate level in Microsoft Excel NEBOSH National Fire Certificate or equivalent qualification preferred (or studying towards) Membership of any professional bodies (such as IFE, IFSM, ASFP, IFPO, IIRSM) preferred Previous experience of fire risk assessment or fire service employment beneficial but not essential A degree of physical fitness required as you are on your feet most of the day
