Job Description

You deliver a professional administration service to all functions within the Operational Estates and Facilities Department. You will need to demonstrate excellent levels of customer service, be able to manage workload on a priority basis from a number of sources and be able to communicate effectively through a variety of media. You will be expected to communicate with all stakeholders in a positive and proactive manner and ensure commercial enquires are not only captured and converted, but that the customer journey is an excellent one.
You will ensure that filing related to conferencing and events is well organised and effective communication to the delivery teams is maintained at all time. Using MS Office as well as bespoke University software to undertake your duties and ensuring social media and web presence is up to date, relevant and engaging.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A good level of general education as well as excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience of interacting with customer, face to face, over the phone and via email
  • Evidence of effective organizational skills as well as administrative and MS Office skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Event or catering administration experience
  • Be able to work effectively as an individual including being unsupervised, as part of a team
  • The ability to work flexibly in terms of duties, shifts and campus location to meet business needs

Having a Business Administration Level 4 as well as experience of working in Higher Education would be advantageous to your application, along with the ability to speak Welsh.
