Job Description

We are looking for friendly, outgoing and reliable people who have passion for customer service and helping others. Whilst previous experience in a customer-facing role would be useful it is not essential as we provide all the skills and knowledge training you’ll need to launch your career with us. We are open all year around and operate a rolling recruitment programme, with regular training courses running every month. Both full and part time hours are available, and we would love to hear from you if you are keen to join our close-knit, hardworking team!
You will act as a host to our guests on station, ensuring they feel looked after and valued, and that their needs are met. Your duties will be varied, but ultimately your role is about 4 main things: -

  • Operating a welcoming, efficient and courteous ticketing and information service.
  • Bringing a high level of accuracy and security to payment handling and station administration.
  • Overseeing the hire of craft and the tours rota, helping customers with boarding and disembarkation.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for all..

What’s the package?

  • Competitive pay, based on an hourly rate and shared sales commission. Cashiers can expect to earn an average of £10 per hour.
  • Flexible working, with both full-time and part-time hours available. You are in charge of your work pattern.
  • 28 days’ paid holiday per annum (pro rata for part-time staff).
