Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a proven track record of delivering value through the leverage of genomics and multi-omics data from healthcare settings to provide health analytics in R&D setting. They will collaborate with colleagues in R&D scientists, physiciansand statisticians giving scientific and technical recommendations on drug targets for new drug discovery. The role will promote best practice in multiomic data and machine learning across multiple domains, and/or stakeholder groups.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Develop graph-based ML analytical models to support specific R&D projects
  • Present recommendations from ML analysis to stakeholders
  • Maintain and update knowledge graph with new datasets
  • Develop new capabilities to facilitate next versions of knowledge graph
  • Collaborate withscientists, physicians and statisticians to identify recommendations from knowledge graphs as well as other research data
  • Provide technical input, options and directions to strategic decisions made by cross functional teams

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Essential

  • MS in computer science or data science or other advanced degree computer science
  • Very strong python coding ability
  • Experience with handling biological datasets
  • Experience with graph-based machine learning models
