Job Description

Key Responsibilities/About you:

• Develop and build the university’s student records system and platform and associated mobile, web applications, system enhancements and system and data integration interfaces as required and allocated and according to agreed university priorities.
• In collaboration with users, Business Analysts and/or Solution Architects undertake requirements gathering, analysis and solution design and apply data analysis and data modelling techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of the corporate information requirements.
• Work with IT infrastructure colleagues and suppliers to build and maintain development and test environments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Essential Criteria:

• Familiarisation with Student administration systems, Tribal SITS and e:Vision in particular
• Experience of working with large database systems
• Experience of the complete systems lifecycle
• Knowledge of application development methods, application systems, and techniques and standards
• Ability to work methodically and analytically

Desirable:

• Sound knowledge of configuration management and change control
• Experience of e:Vision Portal Administration / Customisation
• Experience of managing Users Security and Auditing in SITS
