The purpose of the role is to ensure that the organisation has a high standard of financial control with accurate and timely reporting to facilitate both strategic financial planning and operational financial control. In addition, to ensure the organisation is compliant with all financial regulatory requirements and for supporting the Trustees to discharge their duties in respect of the financial management of the organisation.
The role is responsible for managing a small team and will be part of the senior management team.
This is the most senior finance role in the organisation. It is a wide and varied role which will include producing the 5-year financial plan, preparing the annual statutory accounts for audit, managing the annual planning and budgeting process, reviewing the monthly management accounts, supporting budget holders, liaising with professional advisers etc.
