The Assessment Development Team develop and maintain assessment materials used to deliver PLAB (Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board exams), the tests of competence, and the revalidation assessment. The team also create the assessments before handing them over to teams who deliver them. It’s a face paced environment with lots of different work streams to get involved in. Working directly with doctors, to support doctors, and uphold patient safety, makes for very rewarding work.

Due to the nature of the work involved this post is split between office based work and home based work. The successful candidate will spend time at the offices on a regular basis to work with the team and carry out the role.

You’ll need administrative experience, a keen eye for detail and good prioritization skills with the initiative to manage your own workload. You should be a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with people face-to-face, and by phone and email. You should also be proactive and able to work as part of a team and on your own when required.
