Job Description

This is a new and exciting position in the business. The purpose of the role will be to support the materials utilization accountant working alongside production, procurement, and design teams to ascertain the true cost of product manufacture and improving the costing process. There will be project related work, which you will be able to take ownership of. This is a great opportunity to work in a larger company that will give you structure and career progression but at the same time enable you to be hands on operationally.

• Review of all components across product lines to ensure they are all fully costed
• Development of the Bill OF Materials for each product to support cost accuracy
• Monitoring of the total cost of materials
• Carrying out related project work
• Ongoing development of financial plans which deliver savings
• Material utilization and efficiency analysis
• Preparation of reports to identify trends and areas of improvements
• Development of operational KPI’s

You should be part qualified, having completed your AAT or a degree in finance and working towards your CIMA or ACCA qualification.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
