Job Description
This is a hybrid role involving both office and remote working. This is a new role where you will lead the management accounts team, ensuring all monthly accounting deadlines are successfully met.
Other key duties will include:
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Work closely with the whole finance function to present support to other departments and budget holders
- Support the Group Financial Accountant with the annual audit process
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure financial processes and practices are robust, responsive and efficient
- Review and update finance policies on a regular basis
- Ensure management accounting outputs meet the needs of budget holders
- Support tenders and bids as well as strategic business planning.
- Help to implement a new accounting system
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with excellent organisation, people and system skills. You will be able to lead and manage a team and enjoy working with a wide range of people.
