Job Description

Key responsibilities will range from preparing monthly management accounts and reporting to cash management, including variance reporting and cash forecasting and supporting the Financial Controller with the month end close process for several legal entities. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements, tax pack submissions, VAT and other statutory compliance requirements and ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed and any points actioned on a monthly basis to a level meeting statutory audit requirements. Ad-hoc project work around system and reporting developments will also form part of this role.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) Accountant, ideally from a practice background and with a wealth of experience in preparing statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and audits of large companies/groups. Effective communication skills and the ability to multitask, along with great Excel skills are also essential for this role.
