Job Description

This is a lead on site finance role where you will form part of the leadership team contributing to business performance.
Key duties will include:

• Leading the finance team coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising to ensure high performance
• Maintaining controls to ensure the high integrity and accuracy of financial records and reports, as well as compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Preparing management and year end accounts
• Working with the on-site leadership team to support efficient and effective operations company-wide
• Preparing monthly stock valuation and cost of sales reports
• Product costing and control of standard and current costs for materials & labour for new and existing products
• Preparing annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Cash flow management
• Preparing analytical reviews of financial reports to ensure accuracy
• Liaison with external auditors
• Management of payroll and pension scheme

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) who has experience of managing a finance function, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment. You will have excellent attention to detail and enjoy taking ownership of your role, contributing to the wider business.
