Job Description
  • You will manage key business processes such as organizational governance arrangements, financial and procurement responsibility, providing secretariat provision and supporting the CIO in a Personal Assistant capacity.
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, developing close working relationships with all members of the Digital Services team, liaising with staff at all levels including Directors, clinical, medical staff and external organizations.

  • Be the professional and helpful first point of contact for the Digital Portfolio Office and the CIO.
  • Act as the first point of communication for the CIO and deal with telephone and personal enquiries, liaising with internal and external sources to resolve any problems, queries or complaints quickly and effectively using own initiative, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Manage, organize and maintain the CIO’s electronic calendar, helping to balance workload effectively to ensure that meetings and reports are provided in a timely manner whilst creating space for “thinking” time.
  • Proactively identify and resolve conflicting diary appointments and schedules where appropriate.
  • Ensure that the CIO is appropriately briefed in advance of scheduled meetings and events.
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining an efficient and effective filing systems, making maximum use of technology.
  • Ensure that files and records are stored and retrieved appropriately in accordance with the Trusts Records Management Policy.
