Job Description

My client is a successful and well established firm of Accountants. Increased demand for their tax services has led to this vacancy becoming available. Your key duties in this role will include:

• Preparation of personal tax returns for resident, non-resident and agricultural clients.
• Proactively looking to see where you can save clients tax.
• Meeting and liaising with clients on their tax affairs.
• Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs.
• Drafting client letters.

This role would suit a candidate with a minimum of 12 months experience working within the tax team of an accountancy firm, though applications will also be considered from candidates with other practice specialisms. You may be studying towards your AAT or ATT, and support will of course be offered for these studies and any ongoing further studies. You’ll be joining a high caliber team of tax professionals, so you will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills and a good eye for detail, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
