Job Description

Reporting into the Managing Director, this role will form part of the Senior Management Team where you will have a broad scope of responsibilities across the business.
Duties will include:

• Financial control and process improvement
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Cash flow management
• Annual statutory accounts production and liaison with external accountants
• Create a suite of management reporting
• Support the Sales & Marketing functions with accurate and up-to-date costing
• Integration of a new Order Management and warehouse management system
• Management of accounts assistant
• Strong Excel and systems skills with potential systems implementation
• Analyze financial information to make cost savings and greater ROI

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will ideally be a formally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) although those who are qualified by experience with the required skill set will also be considered. You will be an adaptable individual who is used to working in a fast-paced SME environment. This role also has scope to grow with the business and will contribute strategically.
