Job Description

The successful individual will gain exposure to an impressive client portfolio from an array of industry sectors including OMBs, Charities, Groups and PLCs.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading statutory audit assignments from planning to completion, the preparation and review of financial statements and ACA/ ACCA Qualified (Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered).

The successful individual will be responsible for leading external audits from planning to completion, the preparation and review of statutory accounts and leading teams of junior staff on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the audit process from planning & fieldwork through to completion
  • Preparation and review of financial statements
  • Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
  • Corporation tax computations
  • Control the audit in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedures
  • Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
  • Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • ACA / ACCA Qualified
  • ACCA/ ACA Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered
  • Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
  • Practice experience is essential
  • Experience in working with OMBs
