Job Description

This role involves matching invoices with receipts for goods received from our construction sites and assisting with the month end accounting routine. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance to learn our in-house systems and assist with general accounts clerical duties as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

For this role you’ll need to have an English and Math GCSE. Ideally, you’ll have studied some form of finance qualification (like AAT/Bookkeeping) – but not a deal breaker if not. Preferably you’ll have worked in an accounts or finance function previously for a large business and be competent in Microsoft Word/Excel with good attention to detail skills. Personally, you’ll be reliable, eager to learn/develop and ideally looking to pursue a long-term career in accounts and finance.
