Job Description

You will provide motivational leadership to the Corporate Finance team, business modelling and analysis as well as forecasting and projections. The ideal candidate will have Corporate Finance experience, a passion for data and analysis and a positive, driven mind set to guide the department into the next stages of growth.

Duties include:

  • Providing thorough, tested financial models with extensive analysis that demonstrate viability & compliance with funding requirements to fit the organization’s long-term objectives and support business function across the group.
  • Risk testing/mitigation.
  • Providing expert financial analysis of current and future financing and funding structures to support and guide treasury advisors, as well as guide the Executive Board for future action.
  • Preparing & presenting reports to the EMT (Executive Management Team) as well as documentation for credit ratings and raising new funding with lenders and investors.
  • Maintaining systems to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Liaising with external organizations on security arrangements for investor products, financial forecasting and quarterly/annual reports for regulators and maintaining contact with advisors & lenders to identify market conditions or lending opportunities.
  • Supporting analysis of development activities, including appraisal and monitoring.
  • Providing motivational and proactive management to develop the Corporate Finance team further, including training staff to ensure they have the relevant skills to perform their roles at a high standard.
  • Participating in cross-departmental groups and projects to provide a financial standpoint.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience working with, creating and presenting complex financial models to senior management.
  • Business planning, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • VAT Accounting, Statutory & Management Accounts knowledge, with experience of accounting for treasury instruments.
  • Ability to analyze and constructively challenge data and information.
  • Good inter-personal skills and an ability to manage and motivate a varied team.
  • A drive to work under pressure to achieve deadlines with a positive & flexible approach to change.
  • CCAB Qualified Accountant or Corporate Treasurers Qualification. Treasury or Project Management Qualifications are desirable.
