Job Description
You will take a key role in ensuring the effective management of the organization’s finances using good practices to maintain accuracy. The Finance Assistant provides key accounting and administrative support to the busy finance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing purchase orders, expenses claims & online payment requests.
- Maintaining logs & the payment run accurately and to a high standard.
- Checking & maintaining provision of service contracts & procurement.
- Producing monthly reconciliations of all petty cash accounts.
- Providing support internally & externally in regards to funding claims preparation & data collection.
- Providing high levels of customer service
- Stock takes & posting journals with the support of the Senior Finance Assistant.
- Supporting with month end management account duties & journals.
- Supporting with month & yearend duties
- Maintaining effective administration i.e. archiving, filing & ensuring systems are as efficiently as possible
- Covering general reception duties including answering the phone, dealing with post & general emails.
