Job Description
  • Maintaining the sales ledger
  • Liaising with clients to resolve queries quickly and to ensure payments are received within agreed terms
  • Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter
  • Liaising with management to keep them informed of any payment issues
  • Allocating payments as they're received
  • Ensuring the correct credit insurance cover is obtained on all clients
  • Updating and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases as well as ad hoc administrative tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven admin background or numerical skills
  • Fully competent with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, face to face, on the phone and by email
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and get things over the line
  • A good team player who will be willing to assist team members when required
  • Quick learner who will easily adapt to a bespoke software package
