Job Description
The position will cover either the Estates area of spend for the business and work with the wider team to determine the most effective sourcing approach to deliver value and efficiency improvement
Your duties include (but are not limited to):
- Manage tendering, negotiation and ongoing supplier relationships to deliver a best in class procurement service.
- Assist with sourcing strategy to identify areas of cost saving and efficiency improvement
- Assist with project management including performing cost/benefit analysis
- Conduct market engagement, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract award activities within the category to meet requirements and delivery timelines
- Manage the performance of key suppliers, using appropriate metrics, to improve performance
