Job Description

As Data Insights Analyst you'll develop and maintain both structured and ad-hoc reporting to deliver meaningful business insights, generated from various internal and external data sources. You'll use complex datasets from a variety of internal and external sources to design and maintain compelling data visualizations, presentations and dashboards.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Supporting the business through the creation of structured reporting actionable and meaningful business insight for strategic or material use cases.
  • Develop analytical insights in a compelling way that measure business performance in order to aid the decision-making process. Interprets business data from various sources.
  • Provides re-usable patterns to enable business functions to transition current business insight use cases onto PowerBI / Excel.
  • Provide support to functions to transfer current business insight use cases onto PowerBI / Excel.
  • Creatively experimenting and iterating with new ideas and techniques to push the edge of what is possible in data visualization, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the wider Data and Analytics Hub teams as well as business functions regarding data visualization activities such as dashboard support.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Degree in a mathematical related subject.
  • Substantial experience with analytical and cloud technologies and tools such as Azure or GCP including PowerBI, and languages such as SAS, SQL, Python or R.
  • Coding experience in languages such as SAS, SQL, Python or R, other languages considered.
  • Experience using data visualization tools and cloud technologies would be preferable.
  • Demonstrated team working experience, working as part of a cohesive and successful Data Insights team.
  • Significant experience in developing business insight outputs to create meaningful change and business value.
  • Strong storytelling experience where insights are relayed to colleagues or stakeholders in a compelling manner.
