Job Description

You will need to demonstrate previous mortgage administration support.

  1. Mortgage processing system to be kept up to date through tracking and monitoring of each processing stage ensuring New Mortgage Client Task List is completed.
  2. Electronic filing of client correspondence and all other relevant documentation at the time of processing the application.
  3. Complete post application checks
  4. Complete pre application activity as agreed with line manager
  5. Diary management, task management and event scheduling for both adviser and you.
  6. Management of case files
  7. Administrative and data entry tasks using the in-house system (Intelligent Office)
  8. Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
  9. Answer, screen and forward any incoming calls while providing basic information when needed.
  10. Receive and sort daily mail / deliveries / couriers
  11. Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  12. Update meeting room calendar
  13. Update Office manager with front office supply requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience as a mortgage administrator, gained within the financial services environment
  • Excellent IT skills (fully proficient with Microsoft Office and financial services back office systems preferably Intelligent Office)
  • A good standard of education
  • A methodical systematic and very organized approach and be able to co-ordinate and priorities workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to be flexible and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced working environment
  • The ability to multi-task and have an excellent attention to detail
