This role will see you supporting the parts of business that are working to ensure a future for our group by developing the pioneering world leading technologies that will see us become carbon negative by 2030. You will partner with management and enable them to make informed business decisions by providing accurate monthly management information.

With a project pipeline of over £2Bn you will be involved in large-scale cutting-edge projects with national, if not global significance. Now that's a job to be proud of.

Specifically, you'll be responsible for providing detailed and accurate monthly management information, meeting with management and budget holders to discuss risks and opportunities in their budgets and spend, support the compliance of contracts/procurement/purchasing processes and assist in producing management papers.

You'll be the conduit between two business units and the finance team, ensuring controls and procedures are in place to ensure safe custody of the company assets and correct accounting for investments made within these groups.

You'll need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in ledger maintenance, actual, commitment, and forecast; and have experience in a general accounting environment. You'll have strong MS office skills, and a pragmatic approach to your work.
