Job Description
The role will initially commence as Financial Controller, reporting into a small group of shareholders and working as part of an experienced senior management team, but features very strong potential for rapid progression to Finance Director. This is a role of pivotal responsibility and has a strong bearing on the continued success of the business.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with significant technical and strategic accounting exposure operating at a similar level with a manufacturing, FMCG or engineering operation. The successful candidate will begin to assemble their own team almost immediately, but until that point must be able to “roll up their sleeves” and get stuck into the day to day, which could range from transactional procedures to strategic planning and forecasting. This means that a sound understanding of all aspects of the financial lifecycle including product costing is essential, as is a strong aptitude for cloud-based accounting platforms. The shareholder's and existing onsite team are extremely passionate about the company’s product offering, their existing/target customer base, and the growth of their business and it is important that an incoming member of the senior management team quickly realizes the potential of this interesting launch.
