Job Description

This is an exciting role that involves elements of repository administration, metadata creation and research support. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and colleagues at all levels. You will have the ability to work flexibly in a continually evolving environment, responding positively to change. You will be able to work proactively and collaboratively with others, developing and sharing knowledge and seeking to improve services.

Key duties include:

• Enhancing bibliographic metadata for a range of library resources in MARC format and in accordance with RDA and AACR2 standards.
• Checking licenses from publishers and ensuring license data is accurate and up to date in the library management system.
