Job Description

This is a key appointment where you will provide strategic leadership and direction, working closely with other directors in the organization.
Your duties will include:

• Working with Heads of Departments to ensure business plans link to the company’s vision and strategy.
• Report on progress of financial objectives and key operational issues and leading strategic projects across the business
• Management of the finance team
• Develop and manage internal controls and systems, making improvements as required
• Leading the annual budgeting process
• Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Manage relationships with external bankers
• Treasury management
• Support new system implementations
• Contribute towards business strategy and growth plans, including acquisitions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of working at a senior level. This role could suit someone already working at Finance Director level, or someone looking to take the next step in their career.
