Job Description
  • Process all monthly recurring and one-time payments/deductions and correspond with payroll provider on items outside system integration.
  • Perform input and output checks/reconciliations.
  • Actively participate in monthly review calls with payroll vendor.
  • Ensure collaborative and effective working relationship with payroll vendor.
  • Manage employees' work schedule as well as time and absence entitlements as far as not automated for us.
  • Implement changes to policies related to time or leave in collaboration with payroll provider.
  • Producing Absence Discussion invitation letters for the HR Function when an employee absence hits the trigger within the Absence Policy.
  • Perform a wide range of HR administrative tasks along an employee's life cycle - such as creation of new hire offer letters and contracts, job change letters and produce internal reference letters (tenancy references).
  • Enroll employees and maintain all benefit schemes.
  • Scheduling and implementing length of service award payment.
  • Manage end-to-end probation period follow-up.
  • Maintain personnel files.
  • Produce invitation letters relating to employee meetings.
  • Create ad-hoc reports as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong level of UK experience of working with an outsourced payroll process
  • Knowledge of UK Payroll Legislation and dealing with payroll queries
  • Experience of maintaining employees records in an HR Information System (preferably SAP)
  • Experience of producing documentation relating to key milestones in the employee lifecycle (contracts and offers, onboarding, references, maternity/paternity, changes of hours and other terms, meeting invitation letters, leaver documentation)
  • Solid MS Excel and Word knowledge
  • Proficient in following systems would be beneficial: SAP-HCM, PeopleDoc, Ceridian-Dayforce.
