Working in our reception area, you will be the first point of contact for members of the public both face to face and over the phone. This can be a demanding role where no two days are the same. The role involves:
Answering all incoming calls and signposting as appropriate
Take messages and promptly pass on to relevant services
Ensure the reception area is kept clean and tidy and well stocked with information leaflets
Welcome members of the public face to face and answer general enquiries
Be responsible for processing/distributing all incoming/outgoing post
Maintain stationery and photocopier supplies for the office
Always maintain a professional and pleasant manner
Administrative tasks as required
